O.V.R.A.

In an alternate timeline in which the Party has never fallen, OVRA (Organization for Vigilance and Repression of Anti-Fascism) is the real puppeteer of the Party, the brain behind the brawn. It is thanks to the OVRA that the Party has dominated, dominates and will dominate Italy for over a hundred years, from 1921 to 2021. The secret of this incredible power is all in the possession of the miraculous and indescribable forces unleashed by the Relics of Chronos, arcane artefacts of inexplicable function and proven power. Since ever, whenever the Party falters and the winds of freedom are about to blow back to Italy, OVRA intervenes to ensure that everything remains unchanged and power remains firmly in the hands of the people who hold it.
