Abstract

"Billy - a crowded room" allows the players to experience the true story of a man with dissociative personality disorder who in 1972 was found guilty of various crimes on the campus of Ohio State University. Minimal set design creates the stage, surrounded by the players, Billy’s different personas. Interaction mechanics are kept at a minimum, leaving the focus of every scene on the (psychological) exploration of the events through the different personalities. Since it deals with strong topics, it is recommended for an adult audience.
