Black Friday (Run 2)

Black Friday is a technology enhanced thriller, with very high production values, set in the contemporary USA. It focuses on the deprivation of civil liberties and forces the characters to struggle with the great fears of the modern world and to decide between ethics and progress, individualism and common good, freedom and security. After being played in Italian in 2014, Black Friday was translated into English in order to produce the first international larp in Italy. The project resulted in two runs of the larp, played in November 2016 by people coming from 22 countries and 3 continents. Black Friday is set in an isolated company town and involves three groups of characters: Scientists, Law Enforcement and the Mining Company personnel. This larp focuses on what happens to common citizens when something potentially dangerous threatens the wealth of the US and possibly the planet. Black Friday is a dark page of American history that never happened, but could happen anytime soon.
