Chambercon 2016

Freeform and Chambercon, the “largest Italian conventions on the smallest larp,” are based on the so-called “chamber” scenarios: few participants, limited duration, and just an empty room as a location, with imagination to lead the way. The common thread of these particular ways of larping is actually improvisation: scenarios can be freely replicated, as a game session is never the same as another. A big online scenarios archive is open to anyone who wants to share their creations. The realistic setting of a condominium meeting, or the Arthurian legend in a comic key; character sheets randomly divided into modular sections, or writing roles on the spot; wise directors, or self-management: the willingness to get involved and experience something new is always crucial for the approach to these particular scenarios. Different authors, different tastes, different ideas, all in the name of imagination.
