Abstract

The year is 1929. Near the coast of South America a volcano has erupted, which has caused a new island to appear. That island has bloomed incredibly fast and there are plants that grow nowhere else on Earth. Miskatonic university has not spared time or resources in the arms race to find the uncharted lands, for their expedition is the first to take a step in the unknown area. Or are they really the first?
Studio Korppikela ry’s Hortus Obscurus draws its themes from lovecraftian mythos and cosmic horror.
