Abstract

"La Ballata dell'Amore Cieco" ("The Ballad of Blind Love") was the one-day final event of a two years Whlive fantasy campaign. Players were invited to an exclusive masked ball in the Tilean city of Luccini. The game area was an amazing neoclassical temple, dedicated to Minerva, goddess of medicine; each room was set up with different everyday activities of the time, such as gambling or degustation of food and wines; in the meanwhile, a group of musicians pleased the presents with music.

The game mixed political intrigue with investigative elements and culminated in murder, theft, and deals with supernatural entities. Rules were based on a modified version of "Lorien Trust" RPG that tried to maximize realism.
