La Notte Eterna del Coniglio (Run 4)

“La notte eterna del coniglio” (The eternal night of the rabbit), inspired by the novel of the same name by Giacomo Gardumi, was created by Benjamin Fortini, and was conceived from the beginning in the form of a laog rather than a video game adaptation of a larp scenario. The preparation required by the players was minimal but important: the participants had to prepare the clothing of their character and set up their room in order to represent in the most realistic way possible the location in which the entire event takes place: a small bomb shelter, in which their character finds refuge during the dramatic post-apocalyptic situation staged by the event. The use of the videoconference mode reflects the same mode that is used in the novel by the characters, survivors of a nuclear holocaust, and requires from organizers and NPCs a certain organizational complexity, in managing the movements between virtual rooms and the passage between different users, without neglecting the care for the dramatic crescendo and the descent into pure horror that was an integral part of the event itself. The event, lasting a few hours but very intense in its rhythm, was very successful and it was necessary to organize four separate replicas.
