Abstract

In 2024, the KYMERA chapter “Le Colpe dei Padri” (The Sins of the Fathers) came to an end. In this chapter, participants interpreted and developed their original characters in adrenaline-fuelled semi-itinerant events using larp and Nerf weapons.

The setting was a raw and violent post-apocalyptic world with the main themes being the struggle for survival and difficult moral choices.

Eight years have passed since the KYMERA virus devastated Sicily, transforming millions of innocent people into monstrous Inhumans. The players reached the wilderness, discovering a terrifying scientific laboratory and then falling prey to a cult, where many friends lost their lives.

They drove vehicles found during the game and crossed a real tunnel full of Inhumans, but Sicily was saved... for now.
