Abstract

The event’s plot centered on Rodrigo de Leon, a powerful and wealthy patron who openly challenged Braara’s religious and occult authorities. He purchased the border fortress Oath Fort to gather participants and reveal truths hidden for centuries, claiming the gods were not what authorities preached and that people must reject superstition. For his words, Rodrigo was assassinated but was later revived by his adopted daughter, revealed to be a divine avatar, and she instantly became the focus of all factions. Church militias stormed the fort, executed Rodrigo as a heretic, and expelled everyone. The characters reclaimed the fortress and made decisive moral choices, knowing these truths would turn them into outcasts. Meanwhile, the undead Pale Lady demanded the girl and, failing to take her peacefully, stripped her of her divine power.

The larp emphasized investigation and discovery: uncovering secrets and decoding occult messages to expose evidence capable of reshaping the world’s beliefs. A key element was the decline of magic, which destabilized rituals and rendered enchanted items unreliable. Alongside political and theological conflict, players could engage in criminal activities—betting, blackmail, and illicit trade networks. The dark fantasy tone featured restless spirits haunting the fortress and massive magical constructs as threats. Every decision—from acts of faith to political alignments—shaped both the region’s balance and the characters’ fates.
