Abstract

“The East”: a LARP about 30 environmental activists living in a commune. “The West”: a separate LARP about a business meeting in a hotel hosting 30 corporation execs. This is how THE MORAL COMPASS was presented to players, who found out only mid-game that the activists-turned-ecoterrorists would hijack the corporatives’ bus and take them as hostages for 24 hours, merging the two LARPs into one. The LARP took place across several venues, including public spaces. Its main challenge was finding enough players willing to risk participating in a LARP they knew very little about, but we are very proud of how it turned out.
