Abstract

Zoo is a LARP that tells the story of a young, reckless brokerage firm. It focuses on role-play and relationships, using innovative mechanics that make the experience frantic, powerful, and deeply personal. It is a story about people, relationships, and choices about what we desire and what we are willing to sacrifice, because everything has a price.

ZOO is set during Wall Street’s golden age, between the late 1980s and the early 1990s. A time when brokers sold stocks over the phone to anyone with a bit of cash to invest, and everyone was convinced that money could make more money. Pioneers of the most unrestrained, adrenaline-fueled, and reckless capitalism, these men and women lived and breathed the relentless rhythm of stock markets across half the world, clawing their way onto the bull’s back and trying to tame it.
