Abstract

EDEN GATE was a dramatic, immersive, and narrative LARP inspired by a mythological community of pioneers who colonized the Wild West, guided by Faith in the King of Life. Players are divided into two groups, the Dwellers of the Branch and the Dogs of the King of Life. The Branch people are crushed between the pushes of individual desires and brought to the brink by the needs of the community. The Dogs judge the Branch, trying to save men of goodwill, in a story of judgment, irreversible choices, and bullets. An immersive experience in a patriarchal society, filtered by Faith and a closed social system. Inner dramas are transformed into actions through special mechanics that push towards an irreversible spiral of sin and violence.
