Abstract

Two families one against the other, the Irish one and the Italian one, in the old Boston of the Thirties. They have recently signed a peace treaty, but the old Boss has been murdered. Family and guests have gathered after the funeral to find out who is the traitor, to choose the new Boss and exact revenge. This is a one-day rules-light larp for 25 players, inspired by the great gangster movies and written by Gabriella Aguzzi. Its building blocks are the characters, their inner tensions and conflicts, their secrets and passions, and the crescendo of drama. It’s focused both on investigation and power struggle.
