There are unknown dimensions beyond those already known to man; boundless as infinity and timeless as eternity. They are the intermediate regions of reality, trapped between light and darkness, between science and superstition, between the dark abyss of the unknown and the luminous peaks of knowledge: they are the spaces where imagination reigns, the liminal places where OMEGA events originate.
Inspired by the atmospheres of Alan Wake, The X-Files, Fringe, and the narrative universe of the SCP Foundation, OMEGA 1-76-Y0X, the fourth episode of the saga, is a three-day investigative LARP. A pervasive event designed for those who wish to explore the anomaly, construct contradictory truths, and protect (or threaten) reality. A choral and layered game where science, paranoia, and tension intertwine in an unstable equilibrium.
Only a few days have passed since the Lighthouse Watchtower alerted a select circle of its coordinated agencies and institutes, requesting an urgent intervention in the Italian municipality of Trevignano Romano. This mobilization carries many oddities with it. Officially, all that is known is that prior to this call, a team of agents from the Italian Department of Special Research (D.R.S.) had already been dispatched to the site and is currently reported missing. Furthermore, the ongoing OMEGA event in this small town in Lazio is classified with a liminality coefficient of 2, an exceptionally rare occurrence.
The mobilization has seen the arrival of a significant number of agents; the committee deemed it necessary to include a Mobile Task Force unit, given the unknown fate of the disappeared D.R.S. members.
A thick shroud of mystery surrounds the entire situation. So much so, that the summoned agencies have currently only established their base camp and the operational perimeter, pending further specifications regarding the mission objectives and the rules of engagement for the OMEGA phenomena manifesting in the area.
Due to the sensitive nature of the operation, with a liminality coefficient considered too dangerous for an event so close to a densely populated center, the Lighthouse Watchtower has sent its own trusted operative to coordinate the Supervisors: the choice fell upon Virgilio Zagati, codenamed Caronte, who awaits the arrival of all summoned agencies to communicate his plan of action.
