Abstract

A lavish period drama with a sinister twist, set in the Palace of Versailles on the eve of the French Revolution (year 1789). Attendees of the King's grand gala will experience music, dance, and an exclusive performance – but ominous shadows lurk behind the splendor. This larp mixes historical intrigue with Lovecraftian cosmic horror, drawing on occult themes and the creeping dread of unknown cosmic forces. Organized by Studio Korppikela ry, it features authentic costumes, a catered feast, and even optional on-site lodging. (18+ only, due to mature and intense horror content).
