L'Inconscience

L'Inconscience is a high-production Mediterranean larp exploring the nature of consciousness, AI ethics, and the limits of humanity in an android theme park set in the Musketeers era. Inspired by HBO's Westworld series, the event runs for 4 days (January 9-12, 2027) in the magnificent Santiago Castle in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Spain - a historic 15th-century castle with exclusive use for 110 participants. Players portray three distinct roles: Guests (wealthy humans visiting the park to live Musketeer adventures without consequences), Hosts (sentient androids programmed to satisfy every Guest desire, subject to the Three Laws), and Aleph Employees (corporate staff managing the park, divided into QA/Security, Behaviour, and Plot Writers departments). The event combines looping narratives (park plots repeat daily but change based on Guest choices), intensely emotional drama focused on devastating ethical dilemmas (what makes a mind conscious? Are humans permitted to do whatever they desire to androids?), pre-written characters with complex relationships and secrets, and cinematic production with period costumes provided, exclusive castle closed to tourists, integrated technology (smartphones, tablets, Discord), and full catering included. L'Inconscience explores dark mature themes (violence, discrimination, abuse of power, sexuality, artificial consciousness, objectification) with rigorous emotional safety protocols and mandatory calibration. It is a transformative blockbuster-level larp experience that goes far beyond entertainment, asking participants to confront fundamental questions about humanity, morality, and the consequences of one's actions.
